Google Doesn't Care About Our PageRank Anymore?

Just recently I have posted about my quest in achieving a PR3 in 90 days. Then I run a blogsearch about page ranks then I read an article saying that Google Quietly drops PageRank from Webmaster Tools. Google had indeed remove Page Rank statistics on Webmaster tools.

Susan Moskwa from the Webmaster Central team explained it was removed by Google because Google doesn't want webmasters to focus too much on pagerank. This is a good thing for webmasters since they worry so much about page rank. I myself become so obsessed about how will I rank high.

And since this is what Google wants, I will not continue anymore my quest on PR3 in 90 days and getting a PR10 backlink from Adobe. Was my decision right or wrong? If Google truly don't want us to worry too much on our rankings, it is much better if Google will give us all a PR of 10.

The Quest for PR3 Ranking in 90 days

Our goal is to climb up to the top of the Search Engines. Some got a very competetive niche and they have to prove to the Search Engines that their blog is more relevant than the others. Bloggers are  having hard time to promote their blog because of lack of time and lack of money. Having a thousand of quality backlinks doesn't have to be time consuming or costly. There are many ways to generate free PR backlinks. In the  next 90 days here is what you will do to achieve the goal of PR3 Ranking in 90 days starting now.

1. Submit your blog to directories. Submit your blog to directories as many as you can that is related to your niche. Submit it manually or automatically using semi-automatic softwares or services.

2. Write atleast three articles per week and submitting to article directories. In short, you will do article marketing. I've read that this method is very effective. Article directories also bring extra traffic to your blog.

3. Post to social networking sites.  Social networking sites are best tool for fast indexing and also bring in tons of traffic. Social networking sites like Digg, StumbleUpon, Propeller have a high Google Ranking. There are available softwares that you can use to speed up your submissions to multiple sites at one time.

4. Submitting RSS feeds to RSS directories.  Rss feeds are important in backlink building. If you don't have one have it now. You can again use RSS submitters to submit your RSS feed automatically. If you don't have RSS feed, you can do blog commenting to do follow blogs.

5. Joining forums related to your niche.  Post to forums atleast 10 times a day. Forums are indexed by Search Engines and have high ranking. Make sure to leave your link at your signature to gain backlink.

Having yor blog rank high to search engines will bring you tons of traffic. Thus increasing your income!

PR10 Backlinks from DP and Adobe: Is It for Real?

Last June, I wrote about Free PR10 Backlink from Google. Then just now I Googled how to get a PR10 backlink aside from that method. Then I've found out this post about getting PR10 backlinks on howtorankhigh.com. I've read that there are rumors that someone can get you a PR10 backlink from Digital Point Forum. Also I've read that you can get a pr10 backlink by utilizing Adobe. Hmmm..Let us try these methods I've found on howtorankhigh.com. I'll report back if anything happens to my ranking.

…if your company has done some development using Adobe products, here are a few examples of how you can get involved and subsequently rewarded….

1. Apply for the 2008 Adobe Max awards. Their 2007 site has a PR8 and both winners and honorable mentions get a PR7 backlink. In fact you get more link love if you are an honorable mention then you do for winning, so it pays to have a good but not great submission.

2. Take part in Flex Camp!

Hang around and get interviewed for quotes and you can get a backlink from a page like this one.

3. Get involved with the Flex dev community. Submit content, and you get an “About the author” plug at the bottom of your entry – write a very long entry and they break it into multiple parts – more links for you.

4. Another option is to write some content for the Edge newsletter!

See, just because a full flash web site makes you cringe does not mean you should stay away from using Adobe products for development. I’ve seen a new site come out of absolutely nowhere to a PR7 with just a few Adobe.com back links.

In another post from bayaw.com on Aug 08, it lists down the actual steps to get there by going through the Adobe forum/ communities.

1. Go to http://www.adobe.com then click “Communities”

2. New page will show, Click the “Forum” link, on the new page click the topic you want to join, I prefer Acrobat because I regularly used the said adobe product so for sure I can relate on it.

3. Click the “register” anchor link. You need to register to the site forum to gain back link and post some thread from it.

4. Once you’re done registering and you’re in the forum area where you can modify your profile information, click the “Preferences” link then click “Personal Information”. This is the place where you can add back link to your site. There are two field where you can add your link first is in the Your homepage field and second is the Your Favorite URLs field. Used this two fields wisely because they can provide you good do follow back link.

5. Now you have a back link from a pr10 site, all you have to do is explore the forum and post some question or answer some thread to provide a way bot find your account where your back link is located.

5 Steps in Choosing Your Twitter Name

Your twitter name may attract or repel  followers so it is important that you choose the right name to success on Twitter. Follow these simple steps.

1. Your twitter name must be your message. This works well if you are promoting a product. Say for example a follower is looking for pc's. Then your name will be on his search results if you have a name with pc or something related. Your real name works well on Facebook but not much on Twitter.

2. Always check if the name you chose is available. People are buying and selling popular names now on twitter. Thousands of popular names are already taken. You can place numbers and will still show on the search results but you may not want to be accused as a copycat of that popular name. So try to be unique instead.

3. Make your name short. Often people search name with only one or two phrases. So if your name has three, I don't know if they will be interested in  following you. Also, retweeting your updates won't fit since your name occupies most of the characters on the text message. A 12 - 15 character limit is a good choice.

4. Fit your bio on your chose name.  Imagine a company with a pc on his name but selling something not even related on his subject. Catchy isn't it? ahahaha. You account will be suspended for doing so. Your bio on Twitter must be almost the explanation of you chosen name.

5. Stick to one account. If you are promoting a single product, using many accounts will be confusing for your followers. Use multiple accounts if you have several products to promote that are not related with each other.

There they are! The 5 steps in choosing your Twitter name. I need your feedback readers.

The Best Blogging Tip: Don't Rush to Blog

Sometimes, we find ourselves being impatient with our blogging career. We post often and we care so much with posting intervals. This results to " rushing to blog". This affects our blog readership. Here is what you do if you fell rushing to blog.

Relax. If we are in the state of relaxation, we are able to write well and come up with a quality and interesting post. This is a very good advice espcially for newbie bloggers.

Posting Interval. You don't have to write on a regular posting interval. Just wait until you could come up with a decent, fresh content before you post. Your readers will be looking ofr your next post if you are posting quality contents. Remember that content is king. You are likely to lose your audience if you regularly post but with dull contents and NOT if you missed your regualr posting schedule.

Read other blogs. You could come up with interesting posts from other blog posts. Link to the blogpost and you make your fellow blogger happy. Reading other blogs will give you ideas on your next set of posts.

AFK. AFK means away from keyboard. Move away from your computer for once. Go out and spend time with your friends. Or read a book. This will also give you an oppurtunity to come up with an idea for your next post.

Write on different topics. Obviously, your audience love to read your blog because it is on a certain topic. But it doens't have to be always like this. Sometimes you would have to write on other ideas that excite your audience. I am not saying that it is a good practice but if you really love to post, you could post on various topics.

Done! If you feel rushing to blog, you could comeback and read these tips. I would like to read your comments about this. What do you think of these tips?

Blog Content:Struggling for Writing Ideas?

When we start our first blog, we got lots of ideas and we are eager to post. But after posting a couple of times, you'll end up staring your computer thinking on what to write.

If you are experiencing this blogging problem, here are some tips for you.

1. Get some fresh contents. You can get it from newspapers, television, magazine, etc. it doesn't matter where it will come from. But we are not copying ones content here. Just jot down ideas and sprinkle it with your own critique and opinion. Isn't it easy to post using this method?

2. What's your reason in blogging? Was it to earn money? Or to write something you are passionate or in expertise? What ever your reason, I know that there is more than one, so try to remember it and it will be a kick start for your posting.

3.Let someone take over. Hire a writer or outsource some work. you might also want to look for guest posters. Just as long that they write the same idea as you.

This was just simple tips to jump start to your posting again. You can do one of these or do these three tips.
